JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Key person on advanced client relationships and direct overall administration offering for a portfolio of blue chip, alternative investment clients;
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Credit Fund structures and show proficiency in accounting for complex transactions, understand investment fund legal documents, and possess the technical knowledge necessary to guide your team(s) in implementing best practices;
- Key person in defining and implementing process and automation initiatives to support the Credit Fund business;
- Lead communications at senior levels with client personnel and investment professionals both internally and externally;
- Provide guidance for internal and external clients’ evolving needs;
- Liase with Center of Excellence locations in North America, Europe and Asia to drive efficient delivery for team and clients;
- Strive to provide best in class service to our clients and actively seek ways to improve and automate workflow processes;
- Oversee the supervision of Senior Fund Accountants and Fund Accountants and foster a culture of continuous improvement;
- Participate and lead projects across the department, particularly those which look to mitigate risk, improve operating efficiency, and deliver exceptional client service;
- Engaged and lead audit; address global and complex accounting issues with the auditors;
- Represent the firm in a professional manner at all times, displaying the ethical behavior we expect in all interactions, both internally and externally; and
YOUR PROFILE:
- Experience managing teams;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field;
- Expertise in Credit Fund Accounting and Bank Loan Markets operations;
- Proven track record of creating and implementing strategic vision and process;
- Demonstrated successful client delivery;
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills;
- Experience driving operational efficiencies;
- Intellectual curiosity and global mind-set, allowing you to partner effectively across teams with agility and flexibility;
- Desire to exceed expectations; and
- Familiarity with a Credit Fund accounting system.
