YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the Investor Services Team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the CDD function, ensuring exceptional service delivery, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Lead and manage the daily operations of a CDD team consisting of 7 Officers and 2 Senior Officers based in Manila.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, the Regulatory Team in Luxembourg, compliance teams, investors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, strong relationship management, alignment of expectations, and timely escalation of significant matters.
• Governance and escalations - Review and challenge high-risk CDD cases, remediation activities, adverse media findings, and sanctions-related escalations, ensuring appropriate risk assessment and escalation to AML Compliance, IAC/IRAC committees, or senior management where required.
• Ensure robust quality assurance controls are maintained, including file reviews, monitoring of regulatory standards, root cause analysis of errors, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Support internal audits, external audits, client reviews, and regulatory inspections by providing documentation, commentary, and remediation plans where necessary.
• Manage resource planning, capacity forecasting, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning to ensure the team can meet current and future business demands.
• Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality CDD services by monitoring service levels, operational risks, and management information, identifying trends, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and client experience.
• Monitor, analyse and report on service levels, operational risks, and management information, identifying trends and implementing actions to drive performance improvements.
• Provide subject matter expertise on AML/KYC/CDD matters, including complex ownership structures, high-risk investors, sanctions, PEPs, and source of wealth/source of funds assessments.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and support career growth.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Compliance experience with strong expertise in AML/KYC, preferably within the domiciliation and/or transfer agency industry.
• Strong interest in regulatory matters, compliance frameworks, and evolving industry requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is highly desirable. Additional languages are considered an asset.
• Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
• Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willing and able to work EMEA hours/shifts.
