YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the valuation process for portfolio assets and oversee the preparation and review of valuations for each NAV calculation, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with applicable valuation standards and internal policies;
- Drive the valuation assessment of new investment opportunities, providing independent challenge and expert judgment on pricing assumptions, methodologies and transaction structures;
- Perform and oversee detailed financial, operational and market analysis of portfolio assets and the sectors in which they operate, identifying key value drivers, risks and opportunities;
- Prepare and review comprehensive valuation reports, presenting valuation conclusions, methodologies, key assumptions and sensitivities to senior management and governance bodies;
- Present valuation analyses and recommendations to the Valuation Committee and actively contribute to valuation-related discussions and decision-making processes;
- Act as a key point of contact for valuation matters, working closely with Portfolio Management, Fund Onboarding, Risk Management, Operations & Oversight, Finance and other internal stakeholders, as well as external parties including General Partners, investment advisors/managers, auditors, third-party valuation firms, service providers and regulators;
- Monitor market developments, industry trends and regulatory changes affecting valuations, ensuring that valuation methodologies remain robust and aligned with best market practices;
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of valuation policies, procedures, controls and governance frameworks across the organization;
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the valuation function.
YOUR PROFILE:
- You hold a Master's degree (MA/MSc/MBA or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field;
- You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years of direct valuation experience gained within asset management, advisory, valuation consulting, audit, private markets, or a similar environment;
- You have strong knowledge of valuation methodologies applicable to alternative assets, including Private Equity, Real Estate and/or Infrastructure investments;
- You possess a solid understanding of financial statements, financial modelling, investment analysis and valuation principles;
- You demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and exercise sound professional judgment;
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable presenting complex valuation topics to senior stakeholders and governance committees;
- You are able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and confidently interact with asset managers, advisers and auditors on technical valuation matters;
- You proactively stay informed about market developments, valuation best practices and regulatory requirements, assessing their impact on valuation processes and outcomes;
- You have a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment;
- You are fluent in English
