As a Senior Officer/Manager, Software Engineering at Alter Domus in Hyderabad, India, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of skilled software engineers, ensuring the successful development and delivery of software solutions for the syndicated loan market and other financial products. You will be responsible for managing projects, mentoring team members, and providing technical expertise in C#, JavaScript, and T-SQL programming. Your ability to troubleshoot SQL Server performance issues will be crucial in optimizing our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:  Lead and mentor a team of software engineers based in Hyderabad, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
2. Project Management: Manage software development projects from conception to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
3. Technical Expertise: Utilize your strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript, and T-SQL to contribute to software development efforts and provide technical guidance to the team.
4. Database Optimization: Identify and troubleshoot SQL Server performance issues to ensure optimal database performance and reliability.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand requirements, define project scope, and prioritize tasks.
6. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality standards and best practices.
7. Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of code, processes, and project plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and T-SQL programming.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot SQL Server performance issues.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering and project management.
• Knowledge of the syndicated loan market or experience with financial products is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
